Toppits® Paper Freezer Bags: How to properly freeze and thaw your food!

Was the delicious pizza too big? Can't finish the whole loaf of bread in time? Is there a small leftover from a shared meal? No problem: freeze it without plastic in one of our paper freezer bags. First, choose a bag in the right size. You have the option between 1L, 3L, or 6L capacity. Once you've selected the correct format, we recommend labeling the paper freezer bag before filling it. Thanks to the paper, you can easily note the contents and date – or a code generated with the Foodsaver App – on the bag with a pencil. Now it's time to fill: Open the paper freezer bag and stand it up – the flat base makes this easy. Fill the bag with your food or dishes. Press the air out of the tear-resistant paper bag and seal it, for example, with one of our Power Clips. Then, you should immediately freeze the food in your Toppits® paper freezer bag. Tip: Let hot and warm dishes cool down a bit before transferring them into the FSC® certified paper freezer bag. Also, note: Despite its grease and water-repellent properties, the bag is not suitable for liquid foods like sauces and soups. To thaw, let the food in the paper freezer bag thaw for a short time. We recommend about 15 minutes before transferring it for complete thawing.
